How does the free money potential test work?
You answer 14 quick questions on your income, savings, debt, pension and habits, plus an honest self-rating of how you handle money. Our scoring engine weighs nine research-backed factors, calibrated to published UK statistics, and gives you a Money Potential Score out of 100 with a plain-English band. It takes about two minutes, the score is free, and you never connect a bank account.
Is this financial advice?
No. Income Intelligence is education, not regulated financial advice. Every result carries a clear disclaimer, and we never recommend specific financial products, providers or investments. For advice tailored to your full circumstances, speak to an FCA-authorised adviser. What we give you is an honest, evidence-led snapshot and practical next steps you can act on yourself.
What do I get in the Money Momentum Plan for £9.99?
A personalised 90-day plan built from your own answers: where you stand against UK peers your age, quick wins for your first 14 days, a debt plan ordered by what your borrowing really costs, a safety-net target and monthly amount in pounds, one clear pension step, a habit system, growth moves for your work situation, and 30/60/90-day milestones. One-off payment, instant access, yours to keep.
Is my financial data safe?
Yes. We store only what the score needs: your answers, your score, and an optional first name and email if you choose to give them. We never ask you to connect a bank account, we never see card details (payments are handled by Stripe), we do not sell data or run ad tracking, and you can ask us to delete everything at any time under UK GDPR.
What if I am in debt - should I still take the test?
Yes, and answer honestly - the score never judges, and if debt is heavy your plan starts exactly there. If you are struggling, free and confidential help exists right now: MoneyHelper, the government-backed guidance service, and StepChange, the debt charity. We signpost both on every result where debt is a pressure, before asking you to buy anything.
How does the Progress Tracker work?
The Progress Tracker is £2.99 a month, cancel anytime. It charts your Money Potential Score across unlimited re-scores on one private dashboard, and sends a monthly reminder to re-score so the habit sticks. You sign in with just your email - no password to remember.
Can my Money Potential Score actually improve?
Yes - that is the point. The score measures things you can change: your savings rate, your buffer, your debt costs, your pension contributions and your habits. Most people who follow their plan see movement within one or two 90-day cycles, because the score reflects position and behaviour, not income alone. A modest income with strong habits can outscore a high income with none.
