What we collect

Your assessment answers describe your financial situation, so we treat them with particular care and collect the minimum the service needs:

  • Your assessment answers - the options you pick (age band, work situation, income band, savings, emergency fund, debt, pension, tracking, goals) and your four 1-10 self-ratings, stored as a single answers record so we can calculate your score and build your plan.
  • Your score and band, stored with the answers so your private result link keeps working and your history can appear in the Progress Tracker.
  • An optional first name and email if you provide them, used only to personalise your plan, send your result link, and (if you subscribe) run your tracker sign-in and reminders.
  • A one-way hashed form of your IP address for abuse prevention. We do not store your raw IP address.
  • Payment records for anyone who unlocks a plan or subscribes. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe; we never see or store them.

We never ask you to connect a bank account, and we never collect account numbers, balances or transaction data.

Lawful basis

We process your answers to provide the service you requested (performance of a contract and your consent). We process the hashed IP under our legitimate interest in preventing abuse. Payment data is processed to meet our legal and contractual obligations.

Who we share it with

We use Stripe to take payments and our hosting provider to run the site. We do not sell your data, share it for advertising, or pass your financial answers to any third party for marketing.

How long we keep it

Assessment results are kept so your private result link keeps working. You can ask us to delete your assessment and any personal details at any time. Payment records are retained as required by UK tax law.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you can object to or restrict processing. To exercise any right, email us at the address below. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

Who this is for

Income Intelligence is designed for UK adults aged 18 and over. We ask only for the minimum information needed and never require a real name.

Cookies

We use a single essential session cookie to keep the site secure (for example, to protect forms). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
